Whats up next? Bookbinding! This is a great trade to learn not only for something new to do during the winter months but they also make wonderful gifts. This time around you can choose to make a watercolor journal or a writing journal. Just let me know before the workshop which you would like to make!

Wow! What a day Saturday was! We still had some great fall color to inspire us. The weather spiced it up a bit... My very brave student got the full experience of plein air painting... The wind picked up and we got rained on a few times! We had great fun and her painting came out beautiful. Thanks again to the Gordon Nash Library for the use of the lawn!

It was a wonderful week this week at VINS! It was a great opportunity to be up close to these amazing birds! I received 3rd place for peoples choice. VINS organized a wonderful event and I am looking forward to next year. They have extended the show of work created during the week through the upcoming weekend. Thank you to everyone at VINS for organizing this event and treating us artists so well! Here are some pics from the event!

I had a wonderful time at the fall art show this year! We had great weather and lots of people stopped by to view the artwork and to chat with us artists. I received 1st place in the mixed media category with my painting in a box of a pair of Blackburnian Warblers. Thank you to Friends of The Arts for putting on the event! Also thank you to everyone who showed their support by coming out to this event!
