About The Story

“A Pup Named Starz” is a heart warming tale about a dog and all of her favorite things to do.  This story encourages children to explore, build relationships, and appreciate each other.  The story is followed by two fun activity pages!

There Is Still Time to Sign Up For This Fun Workshop!  You can join me for both day's or Just the first day! 

Upcoming Workshop "Hand Sewn Watercolor Journals" September 6th &13th!  On day one of this two day workshop you will make your own watercolor journal.  On day two we will take our journals for a walk to try them out.  These are made out of high quality hot pressed watercolor paper that will hold up to painting on both sides of the page!  These Journals are also great for writers.  The smooth tooth of the paper works very well with pens, felt tipped markers, and ink.  So come and learn book binding basics and have fun creating your own personalized journal.  

 Cost including supplies:  1 day: $35 or both: $55

"Seascape In Watercolors" Workshop Update!

We had lots of fun this morning working on our seascape paintings during this workshop!  We started out with the basics.  We made our own color wheels and explored how watercolors moved on the paper.  Then we completed a step by step painting.  Learning as we created our very own seascape watercolor paintings.  We also took time to look at some other artists work and used the book, "My Maine, The Coastal Watercolors of Normand Chartier" for inspiration.

Library Time!

I had fun this morning at the Gordon-Nash Library filling in for Mrs. Hunewell during story time. I much appreciated the help from the Librarian Assistant.  After listening to "Susie's Painting Adventure!" The children did a wonderful job working on their art projects!  Here are a few pictures.
